  • Features & Applications

The PMI Dilution Probe – DPMI Series is engineered for in-situ gas sampling, providing accurate and reliable measurements in continuous emission monitoring systems (CEMS). Utilising an air-driven aspirator, the probe extracts gas samples directly from the stack or process stream, passing them through coarse and fine particulate filters, a pre-selected critical orifice, and then diluting them with clean air. This process lowers the sample’s dew point below ambient temperature, allowing for transport through unheated lines up to 300 feet to the analyser, eliminating the need for heated sample lines. Constructed from corrosion-resistant stainless steel and featuring a glass orifice, the DPMI series ensures durability and compliance with various EPA methods.

The PMI Dilution Probe – DPMI Series offers a dependable and efficient solution for environmental professionals conducting continuous emission monitoring, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Directly extracts and conditions gas samples within the stack, reducing the need for external equipment.
  • Eliminates moving parts, reducing maintenance and enhancing reliability.
  • Incorporates coarse and fine particulate filters to protect the critical orifice and downstream analysers.
  • Utilises a pre-selected glass or metal orifice to achieve precise dilution ratios.
  • Allows for sample transport through unheated lines up to 300 feet, simplifying installation and reducing costs.
  • Made from stainless steel with a glass orifice, ensuring longevity in harsh environments.
  • Available in models with 1.8-inch flanges (DPMI-3200) or threaded flanges (DPMI-3300) to accommodate various installation requirements.
  • Suitable for use in EPA Methods 8A, 26A, and other relevant air sampling procedures.
